Wall Pieces






The media used to create my latest body of work called Mappe and Colonne , is fused glass, copper leaf, gold leaf , enamel colors on a ½ inch sheet of glass. The centers is hand-blown glass, which spins on there vertical axis

Colonne pieces 82”x22”x ¼
Mappe pieces vary from 42” x 21” ¼ to 38”x 20”x ¼
The centers are glass African beads, and they all spins on there vertical axis

Temple Series












Temple Series
Reminiscences of the Tibetan prairie wells, Temple Series it is the first collection, which I had, display in the USA ,It was presented by the Vice Italian Console at the Dadamo/Woltz Gallery in Seattle. It is fused glass, with copper inclusions; the base is 1”thick fused glass. Some of the centers are hand blown glass, some are ,made with copper, sterling silver, gold and brass and they all spins on there vertical axis
Over all dimension: 38” x 25”x 13”

Stained Glass




























































Restoration
These series of magnificent stained glass windows belongs to the Church of S. Maria Assunta Arco di Trento Italy.
Built in the early 1800 by one of the most prominent glass factory the Tiroler Glasmalerei Innsbruck Austria Composed by 8 lateral large arc windows. Measuring each: 9’ x 6’ with an addition of eight upper oval windows.
Located above the main entrance there is the windows of S. Cecilia, a 19 ‘x 11’work of art. Above the main alter there is the Virgin Maria Coronation‘s window, measuring 30’x 12’.In order, to properly restore the windows, each component of the windows where removed from there originally location, and restored in loco.

The collections Ancestrali Africani was inspired by the African shield and it started as a commission piece. After discovering the many meaning of the shield I have decide to create a collection researching the design showed on these 4 pieces.
The technique used involves glass painted. The bold design its black-grisaille fired at 1250 F. on ¼-inch glass. The yellow color its silver-stain fired at1050 F. The centers are hand blown glass, copper, sterling silver, gold and brass and spins on there vertical axis
Over all dimension 5’x 30”x 20”

Domus de Janas






DOMUS SERIES:
These pieces where created based on ancient architectural ruins found in Sardinia Italy where originally I come from, called DOMUS DE JANAS (Fairy’s house).It is a revisit of the originally entrances of the houses. The horns, symbol of the Minotaur, it shows the expand influence of the Mycenae Culture on the Mediterranean. To create a sense of solidity I have chosen a particular glasswork called Metal cast. The glass is pouring directly on a metal frame, and then annealing for over 5 days circle, the top parts are made of embossed copper, sterling silver, brass. The centers is hand-blown glass, which spins on there vertical axis Mounted metal stand
